Duoyishu Dawn FogDawn fog at Duoyishu rice terraces rolling up the terraces. A truly wonderous spectacle. However, the terrace farmers were far less pleased with me than I was and where I'd decided to set up shop. In fact, I wouldn't have believed how quickly someone could scale these terraces had I not seen it with my own eyes!

GroyneLong exposure taken of one of the groynes at Rosslare Strand. Groynes are rigid hydraulic structures built from the ocean shore that interrupt water flow and limits the movement of sediment. The coastline in this location is very prone to erosion. They were construction here twenty-odd years ago but have suffered considerably in the interim and this is all that remains of most of them. 2013.
